SAN FRANCISCO, October 21, (THEWILL) – The trial of Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) resumed Wednesday in Abuja with journalists barred from taking pictures or recording events inside the courtroom.
Saraki, just like he did during his arraignment arrived with dozens of senators including Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
The Senate President is being tried on charges that he wrongfully declared his assets.
The resumption of the trial forced the senate to postpone Wednesday’s plenary till Thursday.
