September 03, (THEWILL) – Senator Sani Musa (APC Niger) and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, has commiserated with the Yar’Adua family over the passing of Hajiya Dada, the mother of late former President, Umaru Yar’Adua and late Gen. Shehu Yar’Adua.
Hajiya Dada died on Monday, in Katsina.
In statement he personally signed and sent to newsmen, Musa extended his sympathies to Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua, the people of Katsina State, and all those whose lives were touched by the late Hajiya Dada.
He mourned her passing while celebrating her legacy of compassion, faith, honesty and good fellowship.
The lawmaker prayed for the repose of the soul of Hajiya Dada, acknowledging the significant impact she had on her family and the community.
“Her passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew her, but her legacy will continue to inspire and guide them”, he said.
