October 30, (THEWILL) – The Senate, on Wednesday, began the screening of seven ministerial nominees named last Wednesday, by President Bola Tinubu.

This follows a motion moved by Senate leader, Opeyemi Bamidele.

President Tinubu had in a move to reinvigorate his administration’s capacity to deliver on his promises to Nigerians, on Wednesday, appointed Dr Nentawe Yilwatda (Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction); Muhammadu Dingyadi (Labour & Employment); Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu (State Foreign Affairs); Dr Jumoke Oduwole (Industry, Trade and Investment); Idi Mukhtar Maiha (Livestock Development); Yusuf Ata (State, Housing and Urban Development) and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad (State Education), as ministers pending confirmation by the Senate.
