
BEVERLY HILLS, July 15, (THEWILL) – Former Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins, has joined Chinese Super League club, Shanghai Shenhua.
Martins, who had played for Spanish LaLiga, MLS, English Premier League, Italian Serie A among others, will be joining the club for the second time in his career.
He joins the club as a free agent after he has been out of action for close to two years due to injury.
Obagoal, as he is fondly called by fans, joined the club as a replacement for former Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo.

THEWILL reports that in Martins’ first stint at the club, he scored 32 goals in 59 games.
