November 20, (THEWILL) — The SheTrades Nigeria Hub has continued to support women-led businesses (WLBs) with training and market access opportunities. The hub trained entrepreneurs in digital marketing, branding, and internationalisation, and also provided technical support to shea-based enterprises preparing for certification and audit requirements.
In partnership with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), the hub organised the maiden edition of HerShowcase Abuja. The event brought together over 75 women-led businesses to display their products, meet buyers, and explore export opportunities under the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme.
SheTrades Nigeria Hub also facilitated participation in major trade events, including Beauty Istanbul, the Manchester Trade Mission, the SheTrades Buyer–Seller Connect, and the Halal Expo. These activities generated more than $300,000 in sales and business leads for Nigerian women entrepreneurs.
Hosted by NEPC, the SheTrades Nigeria Hub continues to build its leadership and business support capacity while sharing best practices with other hubs in the global SheTrades network, which now spans 21 countries.
