
February 26, (THEWILL) – All roads leading to the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), located at 40 Blantyre Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja, have been cordoned off Wednesday morning, by combined team of armed security men ahead of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for February 26.
The leaders of the party, including members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), Forum of State Chairmen, former Zamfara Governor, Sen. Abdulaziz Yari; the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu, started arriving as early as 8:30 am.
President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shetimma, Senate President, Goodwill Akpabio, and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, are expected to be in attendance.
THEWILL reports that security operatives have also restricted vehicular and human movement on Blantyre Street.
