
January 15, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Folashade Adekaiyaoja, as Deputy Director General of the Department of State Services, marking a significant milestone in the agency’s history.
A statement by the agency said the appointment follows a recommendation by its Director-General, Oluwatosin Ajayi, through the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
Adekaiyaoja, a native of Kogi State, is celebrated for her qualifications and extensive experience in the field.
DSS said the appointment aligns with its original structure, which includes three Deputy Directors General which also reflects the President’s commitment to bolstering internal security and ensuring Nigerians’ safety.
