December 20, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of twelve Federal Permanent Secretaries.
Head of the civil service of the federation, Didi Walson-Jack, announced the decision in a statement issued by Mrs Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations Office.
According to the statement, Mr Gabriel Aduda from the Ministry of Women Affairs, has been redeployed to Ministry of Defence.
Mr Olumuyiwa Enitan Abel from Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, was moved to Ministry of Education (to understudy the Permanent Secretary).
While Mr Temitope Peter Fashedemi from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security was redeployed State House; Dr Shuaib Mohammed Lamido Belgore was moved from Ministry of Regional Development to Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
Also, Dr Marcus Olaniyi Ogunbiyi from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Development, was redeployed to Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
Similarly, Engr. Adebiyi Olusesan Olufunso was redeployed from State House to Ministry of Works. Dr Ibrahim Abubakar Kana from Ministry of Defence to Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
Dr Yakubu Adam Kofarmata redeployed from Ministry of Works to Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Raymond Omenka Omachi from Common Services Office to Ministry of Finance (Special Duties).
While Tinuke Watti (Mrs) was moved from the Former Ministry of Sports Development to Ministry of Regional Development; Dr Maryam Ismaila Keshinro was redeployed from Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs to Ministry of Women Affairs.
According to the statement, all handing and taking over processes are to be completed on or before 31st December, 2024.
