September 16, (THEWILL) — President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a 10-day annual working leave in Europe.
The Presidential jet conveying the President landed at the Presidential wing of Abuja International Airport at exactly 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, he was received by a team of government officials, led by the Senate President, Goodswil Akpabio.
The President left Nigeria on September 4, 2025, for a 10-day annual leave in Europe. A statement by the Presidency said that President Tinubu would spend the period between France and the UK and then return to the country.
During his stay in Paris, President Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and pledged to strengthen cooperation for mutual prosperity and global stability.
