
March 02, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has felicitated with Alhaja Lateefat Gbajabiamila, mother of his Chief of Staff and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as she marks her 95th birthday on March 2, 2025.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Alhaja Gbajabiamila as a respected leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and philanthropist whose life has been defined by service to God and humanity.
The President extolled her kindness, humility, and political influence, recalling her trailblazing role as the first elected female local government chairperson in Lagos State during the Lateef Jakande administration.
“Alhaja Gbajabiamila’s name will undoubtedly stand out in Nigeria’s political history, especially among women who have made indelible marks in governance,” Tinubu stated.
He expressed gratitude for her unwavering support and prayers, while wishing her many more years of good health, joy, and fulfillment.
