Belo’s illustrious career, spanning decades in Nigeria’s financial sector, has been marked by significant contributions to financial intermediation, policy formulation, and regulatory compliance.
An alumnus of the University of Lagos, with advanced degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Ibadan, he commenced his career at the United Bank for Africa in 1978.
He further solidified his reputation through roles at Nigerian American Merchant Bank and Fidelity Union Merchant Bank before establishing F&C Securities, a leading asset management and financial services firm.
His tenure as Ogun State Commissioner for Finance also underscored his commitment to public service and national development.
