June 08, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has declared that he has forgiven Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and others who may have fallen out of favour with him, saying, “It’s all over now. All is forgiven.”

The political reconciliation reportedly followed a closed-door meeting held in Lagos on Saturday afternoon with members of the influential Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), led by its Chairman, Tajudeen Olusi.

THEWILL gathered that the GAC met with the President to plead on behalf of Governor Sanwo-Olu and other political figures in the state who were believed to have incurred Tinubu’s displeasure.

Olusi, speaking on behalf of the council, appealed to the President to put aside any lingering grievances and work towards restoring unity within the Lagos political family.

In response, President Tinubu was quoted by sources familiar with the meeting as saying, “It’s all over now. All is forgiven,” emphasizing that he held no grudges against Sanwo-Olu or any other individuals.

A source who attended the meeting confirmed that the discussions were entirely focused on reconciliation and healing perceived rifts within the political structure of Lagos.
