July 25, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, met with Senator Abdullahi Adamu, immediate past National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and former National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting is coming about a week after Adamu and Omisore resigned as National officers of the APC’s National Working Committee (NWC) on July 17, 2023.
THEWILL could not immediately confirm the purpose of the meeting, which ended at about 1.30 pm.
However, it would be recalled that Adamu had maintained silence since he resigned last week as National Chairman of the ruling party.
The President, who is the leader of the party, was at the time of his resignation, attending a meeting of the OAU in Nairobi, Kenya.
