February 18, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The President departed Abuja on February 5 for a private visit to Paris, France ahead of the AU Summit.
He arrived in Addis Ababa on Thursday night.
While in Ethiopia, the Nigerian leader actively participated in the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government.
Tinubu joined other African leaders in high-level meetings on institutional reforms of the African Union.
The President, who was accompanied on the trip by some ministers and other top government officials, spent four days in the East African country.
He was received along with his wife, Oluremi, at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday night.
