
September 30, (THEWILL) — President Bola Tinubu will address the nation on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President’s address is scheduled for 7 a.m.
Television and radio stations, as well as other electronic media platforms, have been directed to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the live transmission.
Tinubu is expected to use the broadcast to review his administration’s achievements, highlight prevailing national challenges, and reaffirm commitments to unity, security, and economic renewal as the country marks 65 years of independence from Britain.
