September 19, (THEWILL) — President Bola Tinubu on Friday, September 19, departed Abuja for Kaduna State to attend the wedding of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Shehu Idris.
A statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the President would also pay a courtesy visit to Aisha Buhari, widow of former President Muhammadu Buhari, at the family residence in Kaduna.
“President Tinubu will attend the wedding ceremony between Nasirudeen Yari, son of Senator Abdul’aziz Yari (Zamfara West), and Safiyya Shehu Idris during the visit,” the statement read.
The President is expected to return to Abuja later on Friday after the events.
