April 26, (THEWILL) — Torino’s stirring second-half recovery denied Inter the opportunity to move within a single point of clinching the Serie A title, the two sides finishing level at 2-2 in Turin.
Federico Dimarco was the creative force behind both Inter goals. His first-half delivery was powered into the net by Marcus Thuram’s header, and his subsequent centre in the 61st minute was converted by Yann Bisseck, also from close range, to put the Nerazzurri two clear.
Torino reduced the deficit in 70 minutes when Emirhan Ilkhan slipped in Giovanni Simeone, who lifted the ball with composure over Yann Sommer.
