September 16, (THEWILL) – Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed at Kwaga village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State have neutralised two terrorists during an ambush operation.
The troops also recovered some arms and equipment, including two AK-47 rifles, three rifle magazines, one Baofeng radio, and three motorcycles used by the terrorists during the encounter.
A statement by the Nigerian Army on its social media handle said the troops ambushed the terrorists while transiting along the Birnin Gwari-Manini axis.
“Following a firefight, troops neutralised two terrorists, while others fled in disarray,” it added.
