December 14, (THEWILL) – All may not be well in the household of billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko, as signs of discord have emerged involving his youngest wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, and his fifth wife, Moroccan-born Laila Charani.
A quick check on their social media activity reveals that both Nwoko and Daniels have unfollowed Laila on Instagram. In what appears to be a reciprocation of their gesture, Laila has also unfollowed the couple, raising eyebrows about the state of their relationship.
This development comes as a surprise, considering that just a week ago, Regina Daniels reacted positively to a public love declaration made by Laila.
In the post, Laila shared a romantic video celebrating her 14-year marriage to Nwoko and expressed her belief in their bond lasting forever. She admitted she wasn’t fond of taking pictures but emphasized that her husband holds her dearly in his heart.
In response, Regina affirmed Laila’s sentiment, publicly declaring that Nwoko was hers forever.
This isn’t the first time trouble has brewed between Laila and Nwoko.
Back in 2021, Laila ended their marriage, citing personal challenges and conflicts she attributed to Regina Daniels. However, by September 2022, she issued a heartfelt apology to both Nwoko and Daniels, blaming her actions on external influences.
Her apology seemed to mend fences at the time, as Nwoko publicly acknowledged her gesture, reaffirming his love for her in January 2023.
In subsequent months, Regina even described Laila and Nwoko’s relationship as “couple goals,” further suggesting that harmony had returned to the household.
This latest fallout raises questions about what might have gone wrong. Laila had actively participated in celebrating milestones in the family earlier this year, including congratulating Nwoko and Daniels on their fifth wedding anniversary in May.
