April 25, (THEWILL) – As the lingering crisis that has rocked the ruling party in the state, PDP, deepens without resolution in sight, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa State, George Turnah, MON, has given nod to the dissolution of standing and ad hoc committees established by the previous State Working Committee ( SWC ) hitherto led by Chief Solomon Aguanna, effective from Friday, April, 25, 2025.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Derri Alasuote Wright, Publicity Secretary, PDP Caretaker Committee in Bayelsa and made available to journalists.
According to the statement, which parts read ” Acting Chairman who expresses his gratitude to all individuals affected by this decision for their dedicated services to the party in their respective capacities and wishes them well in their future endeavours.”
The statement further added, “Those affected by this announcement are directed to hand over all party properties in their possession to the secretary, Caretaker Committee of the party, before the close of work on Monday, April 28, 2025, unfailingly.
“That dissolution also includes all political appointees and management staff in the categories of Directors or Directorates and Head of Departments with the administrative structures of the party in the state”, the statement added.
