December 14, (THEWILL) –Â Immediate past president of the Democratic Republic of Congo His Excellency Dr. Joseph Kabila as well as his Mozambican counterpart Jaoquin Albeato Chissano are expected to speak at the third edition of the Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Public Lecture.
Also expected to speak is an Indian Monk, His Grace Srimat Swami Smaranananda ji Maharaj.
His Grace Srimat is the president general of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission and is respectfully referred to as President Maharaj by the monks as devotees and functions chiefly as the spiritual head of the order.
This year’s edition will have the theme: Unity In Diversity As Key To Peace And Sustainable Development.
This was disclosed by the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Spokesman, Patriarch Christ Shepherd Edet Archibong in Calabar.
He said the Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Public Lecture series is part of a set of strategies aimed at publicising and making available the teachings of Leader Obu to the global community.
The comforter, he said as prophesied many centuries before Christ will teach all things and bring to remembrance all that Christ said.
According to him, “the teachings will greatly complement that of Christ, ensure everlasting life for those who practice them as well as lead to peaceful coexistence and economic development.
“The Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Public Lecture series is an annual gathering of great personalities across the globe to reflect on the recondite wisdom of the Ancient of Days as compiled into the Everlasting Gospel for the benefit of humanity”, he said.
He said the BCS is not restrictive and encompasses all creatures of God and is also a melting pot for everybody.
He added that the BCS is not limited to any religious inclination because the children of God are everywhere in the world.
The maiden edition of the lecture series in 2019 had the theme “Servant Leadership and the Might of Meekness” while the second edition last year had the theme “The Unique Treasure in Africa”.
