BEVERLY HILLS, May 25, (THEWILL) – Jimmy Kirunda, a retired Ugandan player and former manager, is dead.
According to reports, the former player who played in multiple African Cup of Nations for his country, collapsed in a hotel in Bwaise and was declared dead few minutes later.
The football federation in Uganda tweeted: “The legend Kirunda is gone. Rest in Peace”.
THEWILL reports that Kirunda captained the Ugandan national team for ten years.
