UK Bans Foreign Health Workers From Bringing Dependants

March 11, (THEWILL) – The United Kingdom (UK) has banned foreign health and care workers, including Nigerians, from bringing dependants to the country.

Earlier, the Home Office had banned overseas students from bringing in dependants via the study visa route.

Announcing the latest developments in a terse statement on Monday, UK Secretary of State for the Home Department, James Cleverly, in a post on X, said the measure was part of plans to reduce migration into the country.
