July 22 , (THEWILL) — Real Madrid and Brazil forward Vinicius Jr has attracted widespread attention after reportedly undergoing a cosmetic facial procedure during his off-season break following the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 26-year-old is currently on holiday after Brazil’s World Cup campaign ended in the quarter-finals.
He is expected to rejoin Real Madrid ahead of the new season under head coach Jose Mourinho.
According to Brazilian outlet LeoDias, Vinicius underwent a cosmetic treatment known as “chin harmonization” at a private clinic in Goiânia.
The procedure is designed to improve facial symmetry by enhancing the definition and contour of the chin.
The report claims the surgery was conducted under strict privacy measures after Vinicius returned from a vacation in Europe with his partner, Virginia Fonseca.
To maintain confidentiality, the clinic reportedly cancelled all other appointments for the day and implemented additional security measures to prevent information from leaking.
Miami-based cosmetic specialist Dr Alessandro Alarcão is said to have performed the procedure. Fonseca reportedly underwent the same treatment during the visit.
Although the clinic maintained a low profile, Dr Alarcão later shared photographs of himself with Vinicius and Fonseca on social media, thanking both for placing their trust in his team.
The posts were later removed, but somehow circulated online.
In one message, the doctor described Vinicius as not only one of football’s outstanding talents but also a humble and courteous individual, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to treat him.
Images that later emerged on social media, including one showing Vinicius signing a Real Madrid shirt, appeared to reveal a more defined jawline and chin, fuelling discussion among supporters about the noticeable change in his appearance.
Neither Vinicius nor Real Madrid has publicly commented on the reported procedure.
The Brazilian winger is expected to return to training in the coming weeks as Madrid began preparations for the 2026-27 campaign, with fans now set to see him sporting a refreshed look alongside his return to action.
