BEVERLY HILLS, July 16, (THEWILL) – Former Super Eagles coach, and ex-Everton FC forward, Daniel Amokachi says Odion Ighalo, cannot replace Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in Manchester United’s starting line-up because he is ‘only a backup’ striker, a substitute.
Amokachi stated this while speaking with Brila FM, stressing that it will be hard for Ighalo to displace either Martial or Rashford because they are in top form at this time.
He said: “Manchester United brought in Odion Ighalo from Shanghai Shenhua as a back up to then injured Rashford. Now, Rashford is back from injury and so Ighalo has to take a back seat again.”
