May 31, (THEWILL) – Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, will feature in the soundtrack of new Marvel animated movie, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’.
Record producer, Metro Boomin, in a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday, confirmed that the singer is one of the global artistes to feature in the movie’s soundtrack.
The producer added that the soundtrack will be released on all streaming platforms on June 2.
“Wizkid is confirmed for the @spiderverse movie soundtrack available everywhere on June 2nd!” Boomin wrote.
The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer also confirmed his participation in the project on Twitter.
The soundtrack will also feature artists like Lil Wayne, Nas, 2 Chainz, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, Rosalía, and A Boogie.
Offset, Beam, Lil Uzi Vert, Tove Lo, Coi Leray, Nav, JID, Swae Lee, and Eight, will also feature in the soundtrack.
‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on June 2, 2023, in premium large formats and IMAX.
Globally, it will be released on dates ranging from May 31 to June 22, 2023.
