March 27, (THEWILL) – The House of Representatives member representing Orumba North/Orumba South federal constituency of Anambra State, Clara Chinwe Nnabuife, has defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Clara announced her defection in a letter read at the House plenary presided over on Thursday by Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu.
“The exclusion from the activities of YPP and the need to embrace a better platform to represent the wishes of my people is the reason for this decision”, she said, adding that her new party would afford her a better platform to represent the aspiration of her constituency.
