January 19, (THEWILL) –Â Four persons have died in an auto crash that occurred at Fidiwo axis along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway corridor of Ogun State
12 persons also sustained varying degrees of injuries from the crash.
The accident involved a Mazda bus with registration number: APP111XM and an Hono tanker with no registration number
Public Education Officer for Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) Ogun State, Florence Okpe, said that the cause of the auto crash was over speeding and loss of control.
Okpe said that the accident involved 16 passengers(13 males and 3 females) and those injured( 9 males and 3 females) while four male adults died.
She added that the injured victims had been taken to Victory Hospital, Ogere and IDERA hospital Sagamu while their corpses were deposited at FOS Ipara.
