SAN FRANCISCO, June 02, (THEWILL) –  The police in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja Monday banned all protests seeking to secure freedom for the over 200 abducted school girls in Chibok, Borno State, by the Boko Haram, a radical Islamic terrorist group that says it is against Western education.

Announcing the ban in a statement, FCT Police Commissioner, Mbu Joseph Mbu, said the police command received intelligence that terrorists may use the guise of the protest to bomb the FCT.

Mbu also disclosed that all permits for tinted glasses issued by the Police have been revoked and that only the Inspector General of Police can issued permits for tinted glasses.
