BEVERLY HILLS, December 25, (THEWILL) – The military Thursday appears set to court-martial over a hundred soldiers as they were moved out of their various Commands and bases in the Northeast for trial in Abuja.

The new set of soldiers would be the third to be court-martialed by the Nigerian Army for offences bordering on mutiny for refusing to obey official orders in the ongoing battle against Boko Haram insurgents in the Northeast.

Military sources disclosed to THEWILL that the soldiers, who had been in detention for quite some time now, are to be court-martialed for sundry offences, including desertion, losing their weapons, and abandoning their stations without official leave (AWOL) for fear of coming under heavy Boko Haram attacks.
