SAN FRANCISCO, June 23, (THEWILL) – The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has adopted “Progress” as its new slogan and dumped “Change”, which it used to assume power in 2015.
Though the party is yet to formally amend its constitution to this effect, one of the announcers at Saturday’s ongoing convention of the party announced the change.
“I want to announce that when we shout APC, the appropriate response should now be Progress and not Change”, he said.
President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, governors elected on the party’s platform as well as leaders of the party are attending the elective convention.
