SAN FRANCISCO, December 11, (THEWILL) – Former military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari will emerge the presidential flag-bearer of the main opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), according to exit polls observed at the presidential primary of the party holding at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Sululere, Lagos.
As at the time of this reporting, ballots were still being sorted for collation and counting.
Buhari is projected to win the primary with over 55% of total votes cast.
Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Kano State Governor, Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso are in contention for the second spot, while Rochas Okorocha, the Imo State Governor will take the fourth position. Newspaper publisher, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah will take the fifth position.
