In a statement issued on Wednesday, the party said the newly constituted committees would oversee critical operational, administrative, electoral, logistics, security, and programme activities required for the seamless conduct of the convention.
The statement, signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, noted that the committees were carefully selected to ensure efficiency, coordination, and strict compliance with the party’s constitution and approved guidelines.
According to the party, members of the various sub-committees have been mandated to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to transparency throughout the planning and execution phases of the convention.
“The committees are expected to coordinate all essential activities necessary for the successful conduct of the National Convention in line with the party’s constitutional provisions,” Morka said.
The APC further urged appointed members to work collaboratively to strengthen internal processes and promote inclusiveness within the party’s democratic framework.
Reaffirming its commitment to internal democracy, the ruling party assured members, stakeholders, and Nigerians that the 2026 National Convention would be conducted credibly and transparently capable of consolidating its progressive ideals and organisational stability.
