Aregbesola Meets AGF, Discuss Decongesting Correctional Facilities

SAN FRANCISCO, April 03, (THEWILL) – Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has held a meeting with the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami on the nation’s correctional facilities.

In a message on his twitter handle, the Minister confirmed that the meeting was basically on the process and procedure to radically decongest our correctional facilities.

The Chief Judge of FCT, Justice I.U Bello, and other government officials were also present.

He said: ”I held a midnight meeting on the process and procedure to radically decongest @CorrectionsNg’s custodial centres with Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; Chief Judge of FCT, Justice I.U Bello and other government officials.”
