June 06, (THEWILL) – Some heavily armed men have reportedly invaded the Genuine Housing Estate in the Gwarinpa area of the Federal Capital Territory.
Although details remain sketchy, a resident, whose name is withheld, told THEWILL that the armed men invaded the estate, between 1am and 4am on Monday and abducted some residents.
He said the invaders were armed with bows, arrows and machetes.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, said the incident was a robbery case.
DCP Adeh said the police had already been mobilised to the scene to ascertain how the incident happened.
