February 19, (THEWILL) — Wolves snatched a dramatic 2-2 draw against English Premier League leaders, Arsenal, at Molineux, with teenager, Tom Edozie, scoring a 94th-minute equaliser on his senior debut to deny the Gunners a crucial victory.
Arsenal had appeared entirely in control following first-half captain Bukayo Saka’s headed goal in the fifth minute, converted from Declan Rice’s inswinging cross. Piero Hincapie then doubled the advantage on 56 minutes, turning Gabriel Magalhaes’ pass before firing into the roof of Jose Sa’s net. A VAR review confirmed the goal stood, ruling that Hugo Bueno kept Hincapie onside.
Bueno provided the more positive contribution moments later, curling a superb effort into the top-left corner to reduce the deficit on 61 minutes.
