July 09, (THEWILL) — Arsenal have opened formal talks with Chelsea over the potential signing of England international winger Noni Madueke.
Sources close to the negotiations revealed that the Gunners have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the 23-year-old, who is said to favour a switch to North London despite interest from other clubs across Europe.
The proposed deal would see Madueke sign a five-year contract at the Emirates if an agreement can be reached between both clubs on the transfer fee.
Madueke enjoyed a productive 2024/2025 campaign with Chelsea, registering 11 goals and five assists in the Premier League across 46 appearances in all competitions, including the Club World Cup.
