SAN FRANCISCO, January 17, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the PDP and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar says he is in Washington DC, the United States capital to meet with US government officials and Nigerians in the area.
The politician announced his presence in a tweet Thursday. He had previously been barred from entering the country following his indictment for money laundering by the US congress.
His aides had previously denied he was on US soil following our previous breaking report confirming he had been allowed into the country.
