May 21, (THEWILL) – Barcelona Football Club has extended manager Hansi Flick’s contract until 2027, rewarding the German coach for his exceptional first season at the helm.
The contract extension comes after Flick guided the Catalan giants to three domestic trophies during the 2024/2025 campaign, including the club’s 28th La Liga title, which they clinched with two matches remaining.
The former Bayern Munich treble-winning coach joined Barcelona last year on an initial two-year agreement following his dismissal from the German national team position in September 2023.

Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League campaign also showed promise under Flick, with the team reaching the semi-finals before narrowly losing to Inter Milan 7-6 on aggregate.
