Hoffenheim’s Kevin Volland scored against Bayern Munich after just nine seconds to equal the fastest ever Bundesliga goal on Saturday.
The German forward pounced on a misplaced back pass from Bayern centre-back Jerome Boateng to slot past Manuel Neuer at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
It equals the record set by Bayer Leverkusen’s Karim Bellarabi against Borussia Dortmund last August.
Bayern, who began their season with a 5-0 win over Hamburg last week, equalised through Thomas Muller shortly before half-time.
Hoffenheim, who opened their campaign with a 2-1 defeat at Leverkusen, have never beaten Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga in 14 attempts.
