Bench Warrant: Tompolo’s Boys Bomb Oil And Gas Pipeline In Delta

SAN FRANCISCO, January 15, (THEWILL) – Ex-militants reportedly loyal to wanted former Niger Delta militant leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) have bombed oil and gas pipelines in Delta State.

THEWILL learnt that the gas pipeline in Kpokpo Community which belongs to Nigerian Gas Company was blown up on Thursday night around 10pm.

Sources who spoke to THEWILL added that a crude oil pipeline belonging to Chevron Nigeria Limited at Chanomi creek was also blown up at the same time.

The source said: “They blew up the gas pipeline from Escravos to Warri – Lagos and Abuja at three different points.”

“They struck at Opudebubor, Okpelama and Kpokpo area, Chanomi creek and Sahara, behind Chevron Nigeria Limited.”

Strangely, the attacks occurred few hours after a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos issued a bench warrant to arrest Tompolo.
