December 12, (THEWILL) – Gospel singer, Benita Okojie, has launched her career in the gospel movie industry.
The mother of two featured in a gospel movie, ‘Becoming Abi’. She acted as Bimbo in the movie, which is now showing on Netflix.
The singer took to Instagram to share the good news while giving her fans reasons to watch the movie.
Okojie launched into the limelight in 1998 after releasing her single “Osamudiamen” at the age of ten.
In 1999, she performed at the opening and closing ceremony of the FIFA under-21 World Cup. She also performed at Nigeria’s 40th independence anniversary in 2000.
Her single, ‘Unity Game’ was the theme song at the 8th Africa Games.
