Bereavement: Jonathan Condoles Dangote, Ayogu Eze

SAN FRANCISCO, October 18, (THEWILL) –   President Goodluck Jonathan Friday commiserated with Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the death of his elder brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote, who died on Thursday in Kano.

The President also commiserated with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, Senator Ayogu Eze on the death of his mother, Mrs. Paulina Omadaja Eze.

A statement by Reuben Abati, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity reads: “President Goodluck Jonathan commiserates with Nigeria’s leading entrepreneur, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the death of his eldest brother, Alhaji Garba Dangote yesterday in Kano.

The President joins Alhaji Dangote and members of his family in praying that Almighty Allah will receive his late brother’s soul and grant him eternal rest in Paradise.

The President similarly commiserates with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, Senator Ayogu Eze on the death of his mother, Mrs. Paulina Omadaja Eze.

As he mourns his late mother, President Jonathan urges Senator Eze to be comforted by the knowledge that she lived a long and very fulfilled life of notable accomplishments in agriculture, entrepreneurship and community leadership.

The President assures Senator Eze of his full sympathy and support as he prepares to lay his mother to rest at Umuida, Enugu State next month.”
