Lamenting that the insecurity challenges in the state had slowed down the progress of work on many projects, the General Manager listed shortages of working implements, low staff morale as part of problems militating against the agency’s success.
He however said that despite these challenges, the agency had successfully executed and completed road projects with improvement of Gamboru -Ngala federal road, roads and drainages at Tudun Wada, Bulumkutu, Maduganari wards of Maiduguri metropolis and the Miringa- Garbula-Gur road in Biu Local Government Area and numerous rural roads across the state.

In his response, the Commissioner commiserated with those who lost their loved ones as a result of the Boko Haram insurgency, praying Allah (God) to grant eternal rest to souls of the deceased and quick recovery for the injured.
