January 30,(THEWILL) – Bournemouth are closing in on a deal for Hamed Traore from Serie A side Sassuolo.
The 22-year-old has been in top form for Sassuolo after returning from a foot injury and has made a significant impact, picking up an assist in the team’s 5-2 victory over AC Milan.
Traore, the brother of Manchester United’s Amad Diallo, has caught the attention of Bournemouth, who are eager to add more depth to their roster in the midst of their fight to avoid relegation. The Cherries recently made a bold move to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma, but were unsuccessful.
However, they have made successful additions in the form of Antoine Semenyo and Dango Ouattara, who joined for a total of £30.5m. The fact that Traore is a versatile player capable of playing in the midfield or on the wings is an attractive prospect for Bournemouth.
