BREAKING: Melaye Finally Surrenders To Police

BEVERLY HILLS, January 04, (THEWILL) – Senator Dino Melaye, lawmaker representing Kogi west senatorial district, has surrendered to the police after over a week siege at his Abuja residence.

The police had vowed not to leave Melaye’s residence without arresting him. He was accused of culpable homicide, an allegation he denied.

Melaye had said he would visit the police this week as he condemned the siege at his residence claiming the police had cut water and power supply to the house.

Melaye surrendered after he was urged to do so by popular human rights lawyer, Femi Falana.
