Bronny James Recovers From Cardiac Arrest, Discharged From Hospital

July 27, (THEWILL) – USC freshman, Bronny James, has been discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on Thursday, following successful treatment for a sudden cardiac arrest.

The 18-year-old, and son of NBA star, LeBron James, encountered the medical emergency during a practice session on Monday, as confirmed by a James family spokesperson. Dr Merije Chukumerije, stated that upon arrival at the medical centre, Bronny James was fully conscious, stable, and neurologically intact.

The family remains hopeful for his continued progress, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received from the community during this challenging time. Bronny, the eldest of LeBron’s three children, had previously announced his commitment to USC in May, choosing the Trojans over several other prestigious options, including Ohio State, Oregon, G-League Ignite, and Overtime Elite.
