Buhari Condemns Attack Borno Commiserates With Victims

SAN FRANCISCO, June 18, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the triple suicide bombing which occured in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State leaving at least 30 people dead.

The President, in a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser to the on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, decried the heinous acts, adding that judgement awaits the perpetrators not just from man but from God.

“I commiserate with the families of the victims of yesterday’s Viewing Center bomb blasts in Mandarari, Konduga LGA of Borno State. My deepest condolences to all those affected,” he stated.

He, therefore, urged all security agents to sustain surveillance in major hotspots across the country, consideration what he described as the unconventional methods deployed by terrorists.

He also commiserated with families of the victims and prayed that God grants the souls of the departed eternal rest.

Meanwhile, he also commended the efforts of emergency response workers and humanitarian organizations.
