SAN FRANCISCO, May 04, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday night held a closed door meeting with some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting which started around 9.13 p.m was held at the First Lady Conference Room, Aso Rock.

Those present at the meeting were Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.

Others included Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha; Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari and Senate Leader, Ali Ndume.

National Chairman of APC, John Odegie-Oyegun; Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh; Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu; and former Minister of Information, Tony Momoh were also present at the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by the APC Deputy National Chairman North, Shuaibu Lawali, and his counterpart for the South, Segun Oni.

Sources within the Villa who spoke to THEWILL have suggested that the meeting is expected to put an end to the budget impasse.
