BEVERLY HILLS, March 22, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday night met with the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the caucus members of the party.
In attendance at the meeting, which was not announced or publicized, were serving governors of the party and past state governors including Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara was also at the closed door meeting inside the new Banquet Hall at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
THEWILL reports that the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar arrived the venue of the meeting few minutes after it started.
The meeting, which started around 8.30 p.m, was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
Political analysts believe that the meeting is connected to the Rivers State Re-run elections and the forth coming APC National convention where key officers of the party will be elected.
